Hyundai Increases Price for Santro, I10 and Accent

In India, Hyundai Motors has declared its price hike for all the variants Santro, i10 and Accent. The price hike which is the result of increase in input cost will fall between 1.2% to 3% that is the price will range from Rs 3,601 to Rs 14,636.

The flagship model Santro will be higher by Rs 3,601 to Rs 5,163, i10 by by Rs 3,974 to Rs 7,637, whereas the Accent from mid-size segment will be costlier by 14,636.

Other models like the premium hatchback i20 and the luxury sedan Sonata Transform will not see any price hike and still carry the introductory price. The recently launched all new Verna received a a new price tag.

Hyundai India had reduced the price across all its model after the government's announcement of a 4% reduction in Cenvat in December 2008.
