The engine details and the specifications are yet to be finalised. There is speculation that the car manufacturer would roll out i20 diesel with 1.4 litre CRDi engine. Regarding the price, the diesel version is expected to cost higher compared to the petrol version. The company might be eying the 8% concession in the excise duty levied on smaller cars.
