afraid of the past,
and its unfinished tasked,
...haunting me.

I am afraid...
afraid of the present,
and its wasted moments,
...bothering me.

I am afraid...
afraid of the future
and its unknown challenges,
...worrying me.

I am afraid...
afraid of my fears,
and my lack of trust,
to all those I must.

Yet, I live each day,
in a purpose-driven way,
casting my fears aside,
with the courage God provides.
