I Am Alive
It doesn't matter how many years go by
How many good times I have
It will always be in the back of my mind
The pain and suffering I endured
It changed me as a person
Made me stronger
Made me more wary
Less trustworthy of others
Made me more into the stubborn-ass I always was
Although I am free
I will always have what happened to me
But it will not beat me
I beat it
I am alive!
