There is no destiny from here on end. Whatever was supposed to be has been. Whatever is to be will, indeed, be up to me. My dilemma is that I would like to keep things moving forward. But if destiny is a straight line - with beginning, middle and end - maybe then, my fate has not yet arrived. The world stands still for me, and for everyone else if they choose it to be. Like a reel of film passing through the eye of the projector, where every frame represents a moment of life, fleeting, yet still captured on celluloid. You see, to the naked eye of the passive observer, the illusion is that your life is moving forward, as if there were some progress to the story. But, the truth is that each frame, representing each moment of life, exists, at least for a split second (1/24 of a second), at a stand still. Why then do we seek to push boundaries, when life is timeless? I will be timeless, and in that, I will become my destiny. I am the fate that chooses me. I am the death that eludes me.
