I Am Your Friend
So I will just pray for you.
My words may seem hard to hear,
but God loves you and is always near.
If you need a friend to listen,
I am that friend on a mission.
My mission is to help you understand,
God has a much bigger plan.
If you need a friend to hold you,
I am the one there for you too.
My arms may not seem like much,
But they are filled with a loving touch.
If you need a friend to cry,
I will be there to listen why.
My job is to help you thru,
So that you know what to do.
I am your friend when life does not seem fair,
to show you how much I love you and care.
My words may not seem like much right now,
But know that I will always be around.
