then in a New York minute shower your world with meteors of heartache & despair,

becoming your seeing eye dog leading you to a fork in the road making you choose,
because it's better to have had and lost me than to never have had me at all,

If you don't treat me properly I have the ability to destroy you,
annoy you if you ignore me,
mature you if you're unsure of me,
but only when I get damn good & ready to.

I don't care who you think you should be with,
I can care less if you feel like you don't need me in your life right now,
even if you feel like the devil is boiling your heart and carving your stomach like a thanksgiving turkey,
because I play with minds & drive some people insane,
causing them to give up on me & abandon the significant soul mates I've intended them to cross the years with,
