I Am Not Satisfied

Lois Ryan
Walking through the mall
With a charge card in my hand,
Going through the stores,
Leaving with arms full of bags.
I am still not satisfied.

Maybe a lttle something here
Will satisfy my need.
"Ring!" goes the cash resister
As I buy a bottle of perfume.
That is all I need!
No! I am still not satisfied.
That nice sweater
Might do the trick.
No! I am still not safisfied.

Almost done shoping,
Arms full of stuff I need and want,
I am ready to leave.
But wait!
One more store I did not see.
Not fancy, but run down.
No customers, just me.
I pick up something from the table.
I am now satisfied!
I got what I need!
I smile at the cashier
As I make my last purchase.

I go home and put my
Packages in the corner.
I take the bag from the last shop.
I pull out my Bible
And sit down and read.
I smile.
Yes! I am satisfied!
