I Am Pregnant

It was almost 10 p.m.. I was at the supermarket looking for dry biological yeast. Just to place it in time it was the year of the bread machines - everybody had one.

Nothing much was happening, the cell phone bipped, its a message from my baby...

"Hi bear!" She calls me bear. "I was with you most of the afternoom", Amanda continues. " But I did not have the courage to say it..."

My heart trembled. I forgot everything else. I thought: what? (couldn't think much)

This is my youngest, lovely Amanda. She and her sister Gabriela both had just entered the University, they like theater, literature, history and are naturaly left wing. :)

The next message read: "I am pregnant from one of my veteranes... I am sorry" she finished.

Then my legs failed me too. "Forget the yeast! Forget the bread!" I thought. My Gosh, what do I do now?! My mind spinning... Now is too late. "I have to be strong, support her", I thought.

I called her. Her cell phone rings, once, twice. At last she answers:

- Hi dad! (low voice)

- My dear I dont know what to say. I am here. I... Its ok...

- Dad, it is April fools!

- Oh... f say. :) @#$%...

What a "wonderfool" day this is!!!
