I woke up early this morning. I felt as if I had not slept a wink. All I remember is getting off and on the bed all night to take care of one thing or the other. It is day light now and I find myself completely exhausted.
This is the tale of my long night awaiting the daylight.
Before going to bed last night, I watched the late Weather Report. It predicted a very cold night so I added an extra blanket
The prediction was wrong,
In the middle of the night, I began sweating. I got up and threw that blanket off me! I woke the cat in the attempt, and I found it impossible to fall asleep again. The cat wanted to play.
I snuggled up with my cat and felt myself dozing when I got a call from Mother Nature. No way could I ignore it. Again, I woke the cat in my rush to push her off me.
By this time it was getting light outside.
I finally dozed off. It was morning. The sun was brightly shining in my bedroom window and my cat was standing on top me letting me know she was hungry. I just could not win!
I guess I won't be going out to buy an after -Thanksgiving bargain at the Mall as I planned. Right now all I want to do is to have light lunch and take a nap! The cat is finally sleeping.
