For instance, the other day I turned on my computer early in the morning to check my emails and I had to wait 15 minutes for my computer to properly boot up and another 15 minutes to have some 'critical updates' installed on my computer. Then, I waited for my newspaper to arrive at my home as it was late again.
I went shopping down the street at the local mall and had to wait to be served. I visited my bank branch to deposit and withdraw funds and had to wait in line to be served once again.
Later in the afternoon, I went to visit some friends to hang out and had to wait 30 minutes for the public transportation to arrive. On our way to our destination, the bus got stuck in traffic for another 30 minutes on the way there. More waiting. {sighing} I am sick of waiting.
As I arrived at my friends home, we decided to go out to a restaurant for supper and had to wait another 30 minutes to be served. Then had to wait another 15 minutes for our meal to be ready before we started eating.
After supper, we decided to go see a movie at the local cinema down the street and you guessed it, we had to wait in line to buy our tickets. As we entered the cinema complex, I decided to buy some popcorn and drinks for my friends and I before the movie started and further had to wait 20 minutes to be served which caused me to lose the first 10 minutes of the movie. I am just sick of waiting. {SIGH}
Afterwards, as we left the movie theatre, I left my friends for the evening and decided to take the bus back home. I patiently waited 45 minutes for the bus to arrive. When it finally arrived, I had to wait another 15 minutes for the new driver to come to take me home. To make matters worse, as the bus was taking me home, the bus got into a accident and had to wait one hour more for a new bus to arrive to take me home.
Does this sound familiar to anyone by now?
No matter who we are, whether we are aware of it or not, think about how much time we spend waiting, wasting precious valuable time somewhere by someone.
This experience of a day in my life waiting,... is just a small sample of precious time lost. Time that I can never reclaim again. I am sure that each and everyone of you have had worse and/ or similar experiences.
All I know, I am simple to tired of waiting anymore.

Post a CommentI definitely can relate to this!
Yep. Waiting drives me crazy. Even if I have to wait for a few seconds for the lights to change. They should change instantaneously. I am a member of the "have-it-now" or "on-demand" generation. Now. Now. Now.
