I Bought Myself a Christmas Present

I bought myself a Christmas gift and could not wait to use it. My daughter bought one for herself a few weeks ago, and the coffee was delicious. Mine was delivered a little while ago. I could not wait to use it.

I ripped open the box it came in. It was quite heavy. My cat helped me tear off the outer wrapping. She could not wait to sit into the box. Cats love to hide in boxes.

Finally my brand new Keurig Coffee Maker was on the kitchen table along with another box filled with coffee samples. I could hardly wait to make my morning cup of coffee.

I read the instructions. It was not hard to understand. All that I had to do was to set it up, pour 10 oz of water into it, pop in one of the little cups of coffee, push a button and wait for the coffee to be brewed.

Sounds easier than it is. I never got the coffee to brew. This was about an hour ago. I already ate my breakfast yogurt, and a Breakfast Treat, without a brewed cup of pipping hot coffee.

I just looked at the empty box, and thoughts of returning it came into my brain. My old fashioned coffee pot sure looks good to me now.

All I want is a hot cup of coffee!
