I Need a Chocolate Fix NOW

Chocolate is the Best Gift

Bubba
It's a cool rainy day. I need to be creative and I need a chocolate fix. I also need a chocolate house warming gift for a special friend that has a new home. I wish I could send these chocolate recipes prepared with love and chocolate to my special friend Charley but the distance between us is too great. These are simple chocolate recipes that will give you a chocolate fix and give anyone the pleasure of giving or receiving chocolate. Let us roll up our sleeves, take off our rings, wash our hands and get cooking chocolate... eating chocolate too.

LtCol Conley's Chocolate Peanut Clusters

Ingredients:

2- 16oz cans/jars of peanuts (Your Favorite Brand)

2 Tablespoon real butter (butter is better)

1- 24oz package of Almond Bark

1- 4oz bar of Bakers German Chocolate

1- 12oz package of Nestle's semi sweet Chocolate morsels

Directions:

In a cold Crock Pot/slow cooker layer ingredients in the order listed. Turn Crock Pot on low and ignore for 2 ¼ hours. Stir well after the 2 hours and not before. Spoon the mixture (about 1" pile) on to wax paper or parchment allow to cool 1 hour before removing to a storage container or eating. Eat slowly or you won't have any left to share...

Note:

You may substitute pecans for the peanuts but then you must change the name to Chocolate Pecan Clusters

Bubba's Dark Chocolate Pie

Ingredients:

9" Oreo Pie crust

2- 4 serving size sugar free low calorie Instant Chocolate pudding (Your Favorite brand)

1- 16oz whipped topping (Cool Whip)

2-3 Tablespoons Chocolate Syrup (Hershey's)

2 ½ cups Buttermilk

1 cup cold Columbian Coffee (black and strong)

Chocolate sprinkles

Directions:

Whip Instant Chocolate pudding, Columbian Coffee, and Buttermilk together and pour into Oreo Crust. Fold Chocolate Syrup into Whipped Topping and top the chocolate pudding mixture. Enhance the top with Chocolate sprinkles. Chill 1-2 hours before serving. Best cut in 8....maybe 4...Oh heck hand me a fork...

Note:

You may substitute cold Espresso for the cold Columbian Coffee.

OK the recipes are now yours. Share the link with all your friends and enemies please. Make a batch for the next Bake Sale at church...Make a double batch so you can have some chocolate pie and chocolate peanut clusters at home and a plate for your minister or Rabi too. Remember licking your fingers only add a bit of love to the recipe. Please make the pie soon You deserve a special chocolate fix today... Mizpah ;-}}>
