I love to see a good ballroom dance performed by professionals. They seem to glide effortlessly across the floor with every move they make. It's a thing of sheer beauty.

While 5 lessons would not make you a professional ballroom dancer, it could perhaps give you and your partner some much-needed guidance and skill. Good news. There is a solution.

WHAT: Beginning Ballroom Dance for Couples

WHEN: July 6 through August 3, 2011 (Wednesdays)

TIME: 7 to 9 p.m.

East Coast Swing

Rumba

Waltz

Cha-Cha

Meringue

West Coast Swing

There's no guarantee you'll be selected for Dancing with the Stars. But who cares? You'll most certainly have fun without all the scrutiny.
