Did you see the Memphis news tonight?
Well, I did and let me say it wasn't full of drama but instead had quite a crazy topic. Apex Construction reports that in recent times, poles built in homes has become quite the attraction. They will install them in your home for free. The "dancer" poles come with two designs; permanent and portable. Never in my life did I expect a pole dancer to make the news in a positive light. It was quite amazing to hear the owners of Apex did not come up with the idear! Two big southern guys explained this had become a high request in building homes.
Now that we know our future house and what we just got to have to be cool, let's look into this a bit further. A pole in your bedroom could be quite fun. Those crazy wild nights just between you and your hun. During the day while he's at work, you can practice your slide and perfect it for the night. However, let's say you have a son that's 13. What would he think if he walked in and seen his mom on the pole. The news suggest it's a new workout tool. The woman in the interview says it is a great workout, and that she is sore. Okay so you have your son convinced and now he wants one. Oh now you've done it, he thinks it looks fun. What do you do now?
Well I guess you buy one for every room of the house. Explain to guests that it for exercise and not a toy. Keep it polished and display it well. Make sure you get waivers by chance your son's date gets hurt. Now how you explain to her parents to get them to sign, I haven't a clue. The thought of this all has my head missing a screw, .... or two.
The wild side in me says that it would be neat. Get some laser lights, a good strobe, some black lights, and some dollars. A night tucked away in the bedroom darling. I know first hand it is a good workout tool. A bit of experience left me black and blue. Just tell my honey it's him, me, and the pole tonight. Alright enough of misbehaving, the responsible side of me questions why we encourage this on the news?
Maturely speaking I don't understand how we got from built-in china cabinets to a pole in the center of the room! Wildly speaking, time to call Apex to see what the cost might be? I know my back is in pain, but did I just go crazy tonight? A family news channel encouraging pole dancing? I am not saying I am for it or against it. Just pondering a thought further into the explanations that you'd tell your family and friends.
I wonder too, does it boost the selling price?
