I Dont Have Much to Offer
I have nothing to offer but a few fast lived years
I am broken,no you wont be able to fix me
I have a dark spot within me surely you wont miss me.
Life has been sudden
Why did it all happen so fast?
Fairytales make life seem like something that will forever last.
I have nothing to offer but a heart full of pain
I cant promise to love you,
or dance with you in the cold wet rain.
I have nothing to offer but a soul that wont trust
its been left out in the elements like the tin man left to rust.
This may be elementry how I express how I care,
but I cant l give you whats been stolen from me
emotions are just not there.
So I sit with a pen and a knife through my heart when I say
I dont have much to offer
I have to learn how to love again.
I dont have much to offer but maybe we can start as friends.
If you say no I will understand it wont be the first time things didnt go as planned.
But please forgive me when I say I dont have much to offer and I hope you understand.

Hi, Very good work. The starkness and raw emotion really impacted me. I'm going through a bewildering situation now, the woman I've been seeing hurt me last night. I could relate to the words in this poem, it sort - of articulated in some ways how I feel. On my AC "Account" page, I saw your picture as a fan, so I checked some of your articles. Good work. Next, I want to read the piece about addiction. For 11 years, I've been in AA and go to meetings regularly (tonight, too). Keep on writing, you are a good writer.
The mindset of the poem is much like that one assumed where it surely gets the forgiveness or perhaps anything desired. "... Crazy World" somehow bear the same state of emotion.
