Many of us are at that age when we start to look back at our lives and remember what we did and had as children that our children probably never had. So I double dare you to look at these and see how many you remember:
1. Candy cigarettes
2. Wax coke shaped bottles with colored sugar water inside
3. Soda pop machines that dispensed glass bottles
4. Coffee shops with tableside jukeboxes
5. Teaberry chewing gum
6. Home milk delivery in glass bottles with cardboard stoppers
7. Newsreels before the movie started
8. Telephone that had a rotary
9. Telephones that had a word prefex (TWILIGHT 6-1901)
10. Howdy Doody
11. Howdy Doody neckties
12. Green Stamps that you could redeem for merchandise
13. Metal Ice cube trays with levers
14. And stopping after school to pick up a fifteen cent McDonald Hamburger before going home.
The list can go on and on so I double dare you to think of some of your own.....

I remember most of these. Just a few years ago I found teaberry gum at a local store, then *poof*, no more.
What's a remote control?
Fun, I loved candy cigarettes :)
I remember all of them. How about Black Jack gum?
No seat belts or safety helmets...
Yes I can remember lots of things like being able to ride to the store in town on my bike and not have my mother worry her head off. or how about those 1 cent bubble gum cubes. or how bout 25 cent movie tickets, or chocolate cokes or oh heck I can go on and on.
