Would fire be a song?
If I could not hear, would I dream with touch?
Would a tree be a vibration?
If I could not feel, would I dream in flavor?
Would water be a sweetness?
If I could not taste, would I dream of scent?
Would the sky just be a wiff?
...and if I could not smell, would I dream at all?...
What would I dream of?
Where would I be?
... oh, where am I now?
At home, in Texas, in America, on Earth, the Milky Way, the Universe?
Well... where is the Universe?
Would I have thoughts?
What would I think of?
Would I think of myself?
How would I know who "I' am?
If I did not know,
Could I imagine?
What could I imagine?
Could I imagine a universe?
Could I imagine to feel it, taste it, smell it, hear it, see it?
Could I imagine colors?
... depth?
... distance?
... time?
Could I imagine to share it?
Would there be others like me?
Do they have questions like me?
What do they imagine?....
Is it the same... or is it different?
.... I can only imagine....
What would become of my imagination?
Would it be my dream?
Would my dream be real?
Would it become knowledge?
How would I know if it's true?
Could my own imagination bring understanding of something greater?
... and within it, where would I find it?
And if I grew weary of searching, would it come to an end?
Would I 'wake up' from my dream?
Would I return to the same place as before?
... where was that, again?....
Would I remember my dream, my imagination?
Would I return unchanged?
Would I return to thinking?
Would I try again?... until I understood?
Would I ever understand?
... I can only imagine...
