I Have a Dream Today: Committing to End a Personal Internet Project in 60 Days

Today I've a dream, A dream that maybe many people have. A dream to work for our own dreams...

Hi everybody, I´m a computer engineer and I work as a programmer in Argentina. I´m 30 years old and I like my job but I feel that I'm loosing my time let me explain how I feel.

Since I remember I wanted to have my own company, after I finish the University I went to United States to learn english for seven months.
But when I returned here on 2001, I got a Job and I worked for one company, then I moved to other company and here I am with the same dream of having my company but working for someone else.

I had many internet ideas like

• A site for asking for food from the office using internet
• A site for building automatic surveys using internet that will call several people by phone
• A site for developing your own site so easy so also my grandma can do a site with AJAX
• A chat bot friend to help you find places, friends, directions, and more.

I started all of the ideas but for any or other reason I stop. I don't know really why. It's like I start very enthusiastic but then other idea appears and I feel that I'm not motivated for the last one so the process start again.

The interesting thing is that I´m succesful at my jobs, I always acomplished deadlines, finish difficult project but all for someone else not for my own dreams.

So I decided today to start a blog and commit today to start a new project. Today I´ll start to make a plan and I'll put myself a deadline of 60 days to finish it and put it online.

The motivation of the project is because I'm trying to find a new home for my parents and web sites here in my country are really bad. So I'll do the best site for searching real state first for my country and then for all the world with ideas like: search by location and radius, google maps, street views and many things so using the site will be the same that looking the house yourself.

I know It´s very ambicious but I need at least one time in my life to commit to something and in the worst case to fail than to grow older and don't have any big failure.

So why I decided to write a blog ?
First of all I think that maybe there are many people in the same situation. With many ideas, wanting to have their own company and to be independent economically. But afraid of giving the first step because of the fear of failure. Also It´s very difficult to have a job and after continue working on something else but I think that the effort will pay off in the future.

I´d like people that are also in the same situation to share their experiences and We can be a community of motivated people pushing forward on our dreams.

Three basic steps.
So I will apply three basic steps

• Set a clear objective
• Make a plan
• Work every day to move forward (at least one hour)
• Commit to the deadline
