I Feel so Blessed!

For the handful of you that have read my first three articles on some of my experiences in the prison system, and have enjoyed reading about what went on in the academy, you probably are waiting for my next article or chapter to come out. Well, be patient, as that is my general theme with most of the prison stories and life itself, is to take life one step at a time, enjoy it and learn patience. I think patience is something that is earned through a lot of trials and tribulations and not something given to you on a golden platter at birth.

I believe this world is wonderful to live in and I really feel blessed! This may seem hard to believe with all of the negative forces going on all around us; i.e. wars, rumors of wars, crime on every street corner, prostitution, pornography every where you turn. Even a lot of would be beautiful women are walking as if they are auditioning for the next porn show. I hate to be this descriptive but a lot of them, and I don't know why they dress like this, or maybe I do, have so much cleavage exposed that sometimes I have believed that I've taken a trip back to the Grand Canyon. That is how much of a crack or a canyon is showing in their chest area. Now I'll be the first to admit, because I am a man, it is tempting to go into the canyon, or in other words let your mind go into the deep imaginations of the canyon and how fun it would be to get to the bottom of it. I am tempted just like any other man, but when we can look away and say to ourselves, "That sure is a beautiful canyon but I don't want to get to the bottom of that canyon because if I do I'll be tempted to climb into every canyon I see."

Now I'd like to say just a few words to the women. I can't tell you how to dress because it would be like telling a man not to look, because he is going to look. However, if the women were to dress a little more appropriately when a man does look his tongue won't hang all of the way to the ground when he looks at you. And he may not even be tempted to rape you if you are fully dressed, or even offer you money, because the way you are dressed, if he thinks you are a prostitute.

Now this article was supposed to say why I am blessed and I sort of got to the negative side for just a little bit. But to have the positive you have to have the negative. If there were no choices there would be no opportunity for making a righteous decision. What is a righteous decision and how do we decide what is positive and what is negative? How do we become blessed if we don't make the right choices? Do we become blessed if we make a negative choice? And the big question is maybe the example above. Maybe it is a good thing for the women to dress inappropriately and it is a good thing for to men to look at them. Who determines that? Religion and/or society? I feel that is up to you to decide and if you have some type of conscious you can decide what is right or wrong, for example, to murder someone. Does anyone have the right to take anyone else's life? If you believe in God you would know this is wrong and I would dare go out on a limb and say, even if you don't believe in God, I believe you would say it is wrong to kill someone.

Just to let you know this article is for Christians, Jews, Muslims, Hindu's, Agnostics, Atheists, and all other religions. I am not trying to convert anyone to my faith, nor could I, if I wanted to. I really have been blessed by God and the things he has shown me with his love and by reading His word. And also remember, a lot of Christians think Money is evil. True! it can be, but it does not always have to be. That is why the TEAM'S motto is, Have fun, make money, make a difference!!
