I Just Played Halo 3: Here's What I Thought

A Sneak Peak at Halo Three

Cool facts about Bungie, creators of Halo, Halo 2, and Halo 3:
* Bungie originally developed games for Macintosh computers
* Halo helped the original XBOX compete with the Sony Playstation
* 2.4 million copies of Halo 2 were sold on the first day!
* Peter Jackson, director of the Lord of the Rings trilogy, is partnering with Bungie to develop a new series based on the Halo universe...

This is the one I'm most excited about...more on that to come!

So what features are different from Halo 2?
* You can now carry two guns at one time.
* Better graphics!
* We get to find out what happens to Master Chief in the end (and I already know the ending; I had the priviledge of getting this game two days early)
People weren't too happy about the end of Halo 2.
* Enemies are smarter AI, reacting more realistically and tactically
* Ability to edit maps! You and your buddies can edit maps at the same time; you can switch from first person game play to computer mode to change the maps, then switch back to shooter mode.

So what did I think of Halo 3? Really cool graphics but the enemies are a lot harder to kill. They behave more intelligently and make decision as a time. For example, if one Brute throws a grenade inside a building where you are, the rest of them will follow his example and throw grenades. You pro gamers out there may not think it's as hard as I do, but it certainly is a challenge.

Right now we are about 20 minutes from launch in the East Coast, so all you New Yorkers get ready....
