I Just Want to Be Loved, is that so Wrong?

What's Wrong with Being Loved?

Kurt Evans
I'm just a human being and I just want to be loved. Is that so wrong?

If I should happen to let my ego get the best of me, please feel free to knock me off my high horse. It's not that I'm king of the Earth or anything, I just wish I was. Imagine the power and the personality complex that goes along with that. I would think that it would be too much to bear; for the average human being.

Now, if you love me as I am; then you will accept me with my faults and all. I know that you don't have any faults because you're perfect. I, one the other hand, have many issues that have yet to be resolved. Thank you for helping me solve my problems, you're so helpful.

Being loved is hard work in and of itself. There's a certain amount of tolerance that's always knocking on my door. For some reason, the words experience, love, and hope keep coming to mind.

  • Experience, if I had some, I wouldn't be writing this.
  • Love, been there done that, and not sure if I want to do it again.
  • Hope, this is the main reason I get out of bed in the morning. Without it, there's nothing else to do but roll over and go back to sleep.

Now, I say to you, I just want to be loved, is that so wrong? Well, is it?

That's so right. The hard part is loving someone and they not returning those same feelings; it's not their fault, but true happiness is when it is returned.

Good job, Kurt. It's getting harder as the days are getting darker to find true love, as lawlessness increases, the love of many are growing cold. Especially unconditional love, but having ridden the rapids and survived, I promise you it exists. Don't give up.

As humans, we all need the same thing - L.O.V.E :) It'snot wrong for wanting to be loved. Without love, life can seem meaningless, but you are loved!

Just remember. When no one else in the whole world loves you, GOD DOES!! His love is never failing and everlasting.
