1. When they are hungry they will not eat me
2. They are quiet pets who do not make a mess on the rug
3. They are edible pets
4. You can milk them without getting kicked in the head
5. They have four hairstyles--one of which is bald.
6. Their children never return after leaving the nest
7. When they are yelled at and walked on they grow anyway
8. They are at times yellow in praise of the sun and gossamer to catch the wind
9. Even if poisoned and shot, they will rise again
