For the laughter,

For the smile in your eyes

For the understanding

And the passion

And the knowledge

I loved you for the things that

I had never loved in any other

And that told me that I loved you for you

I loved you two years ago

With the belief that I had found the one

And then it all fell apart

You shut me out

And pushed me away

You left me behind for nothing...

Or maybe for another; I never knew

It didn't matter.

You were simply gone

And it hurt me for the longest time.

I really missed you.

There was so much I wanted to tell you

But you didn't seem to care

And then I saw you last night

And I remembered the laughter
