I know I should eat it. Yes, I should.
The same goes for vegetables, don't you know.
I should eat them. They make me glow.
But the problem for me is the other food flavors.
The ones that don't do my waistline any favors.
Cotton candy, pizza, and steak.
Are what I think of when I wake.
Hamburgers, cookies, ice cream and pie.
Are not recommended. Tell me why!
Why can't my favorites make me skinny and hot?
Instead of chunky. Yeah, thanks a lot.
What I really need is zero calorie . . .
Cream puffs and candy to set me free.
But until the great minds of science
Provide me this, I'll stand in defiance.
Of all the yummy things to eat.
And save them for a special treat.
I'll sit here with some rabbit food,
And pretend it's something really good.
