I always appreciate the fact that so many people take the time to leave a comment on my blog or articles I've written. Over the years, on my other blogs, I have always taken time to post a comment to at least acknowledge them. I've wanted those people to realize how much I appreciate them.
Since I started writing for Associated Content I've tried to continue that practice. About a month ago, I started feeling overwhelmed. Writing articles, working on my latest work in progress, keeping up with email and reading and posting comments on each of my blogs, including Associated Content, is exhaustive.
Every time I've needed help or direction I've contacted Michele Starkey, a fellow contributor on AC. She has been great to not only answer my questions, but also encourage me. I love the part of her bio that says; "she lived, she loved, she left", but it should also read, SHE HELPS.
I think it was a comment she left for me yesterday that changed my life, for the better.
After leaving comments for the people who have left a comment for me, I have responded to each and every one of them.
Michele reminded me, "btw," she said, "just so you know, you are the only one who receives a message that you write. It doesn't go to the people who have left a comment to you."
So I guess I have been sending thank you messages to myself! Actually I'm still laughing, and breathing a sigh of relief!
Thanks Michele, I love you! You're the best!

Post a CommentMichele is awesome!
Michele is very nice & insightful. Hmm...Maybe I should copy this msg to her contact. LOL, I did that on my first comment too, & it dawned on me when I got my own comment back :) I think that is a feature that needs to be added so that we can reply to nice comments.
Michele is definitely one classy lady who I am honored to call a friend.
Michele is wonderful. :)
LOL Great tribute to Michele!
Michele is so helpful.
In the wonderful story,"Charlotte's Web" there is the perfect compliment. When his friend Charlotte the spider died, Wilbur the pig said, " It's not often one finds someone who is both a good friend and a good writer. Charlotte was both." The same can be said of Michele...Luv you Michele!
Very nice and funny!
LOL - and here I am reading about myself and blushing!!! You're so funny, thank you! cheers!
Michele rocks! She was encouraging to me also, especially when I felt like not writing much anymore because my articles kept getting rejected for upfront. She said something to the effect of: Just write what is in your heart. That's what I do." It pushed me to stop caring so much about money and just write what I wanted to and get more involved in the community here. Thanks Michele! :)
