I Love New York 2 "Fall TV"

Let the Foolishness Begin!

Ms. Unique
Ok, everybody 's guilty pleasure is watching VH1's attempt to showcase unique characters on it's cable outlet. As I was scanning the channels on my Comcast I came across the infamous Tiffany Patterson (New York) and her momma discussing their plight of searching through the droves of men waiting in line. Searching for ywhat you say? New Yorks new love of course! As I guiltily continued to watch, I noticed Ms. New York has turned down the hair color, and Sister Patterson has upgraded her own "do" as well. (no more blank hair line). Not only were the women made up to a "T" but were dressed to impressed, with New York in a ruffled corsetish type golden dress and stilletos. She actually looked a bit stunning and momma was looking good too.

The show was basically a "get to knpw the contestants" type beginning, as always. Of course, no first time mixer would be great without a fight or two. During this episode two guys started to have early beef about respecting each other (egos) or whatever and in the 'On Demand' cable spots , Midget Mack, yes Midget Mack, decided to get a bit heated with some one twice his size. Literally.

By the end of the night five men were booted off giving the other men their moment to shine and move into New York's home to win her love. I actually watched the second episode and it was all aout gift giving and winning dates with Ms. TIffany. Each contestant had to buy New York a gift and present it to her on the show. Before presenting, they had to swim across a small pond to get to her pond side throne and giver her their gifts. The best present out of the bunch?: A pair of Manolo Blahnik stilletos. Work it! The cutest gift? A cuddley, white teddy bear. The most sensible and thoughtful gift: a silk, monogramed robe given by Midget Mack himself. Awwwww.

Does the show look promising? As far as entertainment, im sure. But, in the world of VH1 reality dating, anything is sure to happen and anything is sure to be aired, no matter how foolish it may seem.

Happy watching,
