While at dinner Tailor Made attempted to propose to New York but things didn't go so well. He gave her and empty box and said that he didn't have time to go by a jewelry store while on his way to Jamaica. At fist, New York seemed offended and her usual sarcastic, spoiled, trailer park trash personality prevailed. Immediately after, she began chanting about Tailor Made and how happy he made her.
Among Tailor Made proposing to New York, she asked Budda if he was in love with her. Budda flat out told New York no. No doubt the trailer park trash kicked in. She got upset and was about to storm out when Budda told her that he loved her but was not in love with her. Budda told New York that he couldn't be in love with someone that didn't trust him, but he did love her very much.
At the end of the night, New York chose to take Budda on the first 24 hour date. The main event of their date was riding horses. No doubt New York is petrified of animals so the whole time she whined about how scared she was. Budda kept telling her how everything would be fine and New York went on and on about how she felt so safe with Budda and how turned on she was by him. They ended the date by Budda asking to dance with her in the beach. Apparently, it doesn't take much to turn on trailer trash.
While Budda and New York were out on their date, Tailor Made stayed in his room the whole time. The camera crew caught several sudden out burst, cries and prayers coming from Tailor Made in hopes that New York would choose him. While having one of his mental break downs, Sister Patterson showed up. She told Tailor Made how bad she wanted him to win and broke out with some of her "want to be Voo-doo". Before you knew it, she told Tailor Made to close his eyes, brace his self, and she hit him in the forehead and smacked him on each cheek with in a matter of 2 seconds! It was one of the funniest parts of the whole I Love New York 2.
The next 24 hours consisted of New York and Tailor Made going out on their date. They went to a large beach inlet with a 35 foot cliff that had been constructed with a diving plat form. New York, of course, would never take it upon herself to dive 35 foot but, required Tailor Made to do so. After about 5 minutes of going back and forth Tailor Made pinched his nose closed and plunged feet first into the water. He came up like a wet cat. New York was so awed by Tailor Made jumping the 35 feet. The date ended when Tailor Made proposed to her one last time. At least this time he used a real ring.
New York seemed to be surprised. She seemed as if she could barely breathe and at one point she had to get up and go to the bathroom. She expressed her love for Tailor Made and how she wanted to be with him just as bad as he wanted to be with her but said she had too much on her mind to answer at this time. However, she did bring up the fact that Tailor Made is still married. He bowed down and told her that he was in the process of getting the divorce.
While Tailor Made and New York were out on their date, Budda stayed back in his room playing it cool. No doubt, Sister Patterson would show up there as well. When Budda answered the door and seen that it was Sister Patterson, you could see the disbelief in his expression. Of course, Sister Patterson had to go own about how he wasn't right for her and how she new he was hiding something.
At the end of both dates came elimination. What would the results of the final show be? Who would win New York? Well it's time to find out!
The elimination started with both guys feeling like they had the advantage and the both would be staying in Jamaica with New York. New York started out by telling Tailor Made how giving he was, how sweet he was and how much she adored him. Unfortunately, she also told him how weak he was. She then went to Budda and told him how strong he was and how he kept her in line, and how sexy he was and how she was so attracted to him. New York went back and forth between both guys for about 4 rounds, telling each of them what she liked and didn't like and compared each one to the other.
At the end, New York pulled a ring from out of her bosom. She asked Budda if he new what it was. Of course, he said it was a ring. She asked Budda again if he was in love with her and Budda responded with "As bad as I don't won't to admit it, I am very in love with you New York". New York then told Budda that it was an engagement ring. Budda's eyes lit up! She then looked at Tailor Made and said "this is the ring that Tailor Made used to propose to me". Budda nearly fainted.
New York made her final decision by telling Budda how much she cared about him and how much she loved him and then suddenly stopped and got quiet. She then looked Budda directly in the eyes and said "But I am not in love with you Budda- I am in love with Tailor Made". She then told Tailor Made that she couldn't marry him right now but maybe in the next few months! Budda went home upset and Tailor Made being the little punk that he is, stayed in Jamaica with New York!
