Staring at the stars,
my thoughts are of you.
Missing your voice,
and your laughter too.
my thoughts are of you.
Missing your voice,
and your laughter too.
You were my best friend,
someone I could trust.
So many times we would laugh,
until I thought we would bust.
Sweet and sensitive,
a big teddy bear.
When anyone needed you.
You were always there
My heart was in pieces,
when I knew you were gone.
But the memories we shared,
will forever live on.
They will remain in my heart,
until I see you again.
Playing over and over,
because I miss my best friend.

Wow so sad yet so beautifully written! I find poetry to be a good way to express myself as well. Two thumbs up!
I am sorry for your loss. This is a beautifully written piece that I can really relate to, as I lost a close friend this past February.
