I Must Take a Short Haitus from AC

I guess you have noticed that I have not posted anything recently. It's because I have not been very well lately. My Mom became very sick and almost died at Duke hospital. And although she rallied with the help of of some very poweful medications, she is still in a lot of pain and is totally disabled now. I did not want to see that happen to her. I wanted her to be comfortable and to die in peace.

As a result, I too am sick, too sick in my gut to take my medicine. I've been really, really bipolar lately and who even know what my sugars are doing as I can't swallow my Metformen (oral diabetes meds). Thus I must make the two hour trip to the VA hospital at daybreak, after I take Scamper to the kennel. I still feel up to driving so I better go while I can still get there on my own. State psychiatric hospitals in Virginia are especially brutal so I want to go to the Vets hospital for treatment on my own. I don't know if they will keep me or not, but I hope to see y'all soon. Please pray for my family, my Mom in particular. Thanks. Shirley
