'I Do Now I Don't' is a Great Website

A few years ago I ended an engagement with my boyfriend of several years. I won't hash out all the details of a sad story, but basically I moved away and we grew apart. Being a thrifty person, I could't stand the thought of the wasted money that was spent on the beautiful 1.5 carot vintage ring that meant absolutely nothing to me anymore.

I tried several jewelry stores that claimed to offer fair buying prices, but was offered pennies on the dollar. I took it back to the store where it was purchased and was told that I was welcome to trade it in as credit toward something that was worth at least three times the price. Ultimately I ended up giving it back and he sold it for next to nothing to someone in the newspaper.

What once held so much promise had become a burden that was difficult to unload. Engagment rings are an emotional purchase and unfortunately many people whose relationships fail are just happy to be rid of it and will take whatever they can. Jewelers know this, and can practically steal rings back from you.

I Do Now I Don't is a company that lets failed couples get back their money even if you can't always get back everything else you lost. The website allows people to sell engagement rings and other jewelry to people that don't mind buying something that is used or that may have a bit of a failed track record. If you're not superstitious about things like that it is the perfect opportunity to snap up a great deal on some beautiful jewelry. The site also offers wedding dresses, loose diamonds, and other jewelry. Shoppers can find jewelry from $500 to $50,000 and up. With hundreds of buyers and sellers the range of styles and prices is amazing.

So the buyer can have total confidence in the purchase, each stone is examined by a certified gemologist before any money is actually exchanged. The stone you receive will be the exact quality the seller claims it is. There is a 5 percent transaction fee for buying and selling jewelry on the site. But this fee is worthwhile considering the protection the examination process offers buyers. Other free websites cannot guarantee the quality of the products sold through their sites. For those with a lack of knowledge about diamonds and what all the terminology means the site offers an educational guide to aide you in the buying process.

Calling off a wedding can be a huge blow to your sense of pride even if it was an amicable breakup. Admitting that you were wrong to friends and family is embrassing enough without having to march around from store to store admitting it to strangers and haggling over the price of your mistake. If you are one of the unfortunate souls that found that happily does not always mean ever after, don't turn to jewelry stores and newpapers. Jewelry stores charge several times more than what they pay for diamonds. So when buying a diamond back from you their price will be closer to what they pay that what you paid. And let's face it, if you are desperate enough to put an ad in the paper, potential buyers know they can most likely get it from you at a price that is more to their advantage than yours. Getting a good price for your jewelry may not take away the pain of an ended relationship, but giving it away for next to nothing is like rubbing salt in the wound. Try www.idonowidont.com and you just might end up with a fresh start and a little extra change in your pocket. I'd call that a happy ending.
