They are partners on the force and always promise to have each others back. When Larry saves Chuck's life during a walkthrough of a burned out building Chuck swears to do Larry one favor, Anything, Anytime, Anywhere.
After receiving word that his pension will not automatically go to his children if he were to die, Larry does additional homework. He discovers that if he were to get remarried than the pension difficulty would be cleared up. Not feeling strongly about any of the women in his life he decides to call in the favor owed to him by Chuck and go to Canada to get a same sex marriage.
A hysterical plot ensues where the pension company comes after Larry for fraud, and Chuck has to move in to prove that they really are gay. Chuck falls in love with their lawyer and the best comedy that I have seen in a very long time goes into full swing. I was impressed with how witty the humor was in an Adam Sandler film. I am a huge fan of Kevin James, but normally don't like Adam Sandler. Of course it would be difficult for any movie to go bad when Jessica Biel dances around in a cat woman costume. Gorgeous!
Anyway back on point this is a wonderful movie with a good message that everyone should go see. If you are opposed to gay marriage then maybe this will give you another way of looking at the issue. This film proved to be far more convincing than the other "homosexual" relationship blockbuster "Brokeback Mountain." I hope that this film brings laughter to you as much as it did to me
