I Refuse....
within the boundaries
of my mind, heart and soul
the loneliness that attracts
the unemployed
the married
the abuser
the evasive
the lair
the cheater
the alcohol and drug abuser
the down low man repudiator
I will not endure
the humiliation
that deprives from
the abusive hand and mouth
of the little boy
hidden in a man's body
I will not allow
self-destructions of
over eating
over drinking
over exercising
under eating
drug or alcohol abuse
I won't allow negative words
that distance you to me
me to you
or me to me
eat away at my soul
and cause divisions
I will not allow spiritual hunger
to invade my body, mind and heart
I will always allow
penetration of power and love
that surrounds me
from My God
tha helps show me
that I deserve
love
kindness
respect
his love and guidance
assures me of
my self worth
My validation
does not start with a man
nor does it end
with one
I will not let my past
stop me believing in a future
that commands
love
happiness
success
For My God
is a
forgiving
loving
powerful
Just God.
