that my health is largely dependent on
what I put into my mouth;
I regret I had not known early on
how to spend my money and my time
wisely;
I regret I had not known early on
that my habits will be hard to change
after the age of forty;
I regret I had not known early on
that the world does not owe me a living
and would just give me what I deserved;
I regret I had not known early on
the folly of not taking the advice of
older and much wiser persons;
I regret I had not known early on
the sacrifices my parents had
just to raise me;
I regret I had not known early on
the helpful and inspiring parts
of the Bible;
I regret I had not known early on
that there is no better exercise than
reaching down and helping people up;
I regret I had not known early on
that telling someone I love: "I love you"
should be done as often as I can;
I regret I had not known early on
that letting go is an act of love
much better than holding on;
I regret I had not known early on
that Honesty is the only policy, in dealing
with everybody, myself and God Almighty;
I regret I had not known early on
that life is a mirror which will reflect
back what you place before it;
I regret I had not known early on
the things I knew now, which could
have made my life a lot better.
