I See Your Face Again

Janet Hunt

I hear a beautiful piano melody

I see your face again --

I smell honeysuckle

Mixed with sunshine in the garden

I see your face again --

I taste a ripened strawberry

As its juice trickles down my chin

I see your face again --

I see a neighbor

Help a friend in need

I see your face again --

I feel joy, peace, and sadness

All at the same time as your memories begin

I see your face again --

(Dedicated to my Mother '" Gone but not forgotten!)

I'm sure your mother is proud to have you as a daughter and that you took the time to write this wonderful tribute.
