I Shall Wear the Crown

"I'm Queen"

Stephanie R. Barry
I'm afraid of dying,
Therefore I don't want your Aids.
I am afraid of itching,
I don't care for your infections.
I don't like to be sad,
Therefore I run from your pain,
I have cried enough,
I will no longer hide the tears in rain.
I am afraid of Physical abuse,
So at first sign I bounce
I am afraid of Failure,
So I keep distance from you,
In order to make sure I stay up,
I could never depend on you.
I know you wonder why,
I am so cold inside,
Take a deep look into,
These pretty brown eyes.
Do you see all this hurt,
Disappointment, and pain,
Do you see the many nights of crying,
All the caring I gave in vain.
Look at all the love,
That's been taken for Granite,
Can you see me screaming, crying, hollering,
DAMMIT!!!!!!
If I don't ruin myself,
No man will get the opportunity,
To ever do it again,
I will be manless forever,
Before I lay down with no grace, I WIN!!!!!!!!
