Goliath is my 110 pound Labrador mix who absolutely adores swimming. I try to spend every weekend I can incorporating swimming time into our routine.
It's hard to swim with my pooch, as he enjoys following me in the water and climbing on me. I end up under the water every time.
I normally take him to a secluded location, let him off his leash, and throw his tennis ball as far as I can into the water. Of course, he runs full speed into the water, retrieves his ball, drops it in front of me, shakes the water off his body, and expects me to do it again... and again, and again, and again. He will play this game for hours if I let him.
I enjoy how stress free the experience is, how much Goliath enjoys it, and, of course, how amazing my tan looks after a few trips!
