I Thank God for Associated Content for Making My Life Easier

A Heart Felt Thanks

AmyBrowne
I have only been writing here at Associated Content for almost two months now and I am having a great time. Sure it gets frustrating at times but so does life and for the most part it's a wonderful experience. It's helped me to bring in some much needed extra money to supplement my full time job and the meager child support I get.

When I first stumbled upon this site like many other new users I thought, that it had to be too good to be true. I was wrong, so very wrong. I was wrong about so many things here, but I find the forums a great way to learn about the site. The forums are stuffed full of helpful tips and advice and other writers just wanting to help each other succeed.

I thought to my self, just try it out and see where it gets you, so I wrote my first article and like everyone else I was amazed when it sold. There was a delay in the pay coming into my pay pal account simply because I didn't realize I had to confirm it first. I got paid a day later after reading in the forums that I had to confirm the payment.

Someone mentioned in the forum that there was that button on my content page on the payment tab where you could confirm all payments automatically so I did. Now the money just comes automatically and now I don't have to worry about it.

I did set a goal for myself to make at least fifty dollars that first month and I did succeed and made even more then that. Now that fifty dollars seems like chum change almost and I am way over that amount. The money is very much appreciated and welcome into a household of five where money is always tight.

I admit I do not do much promotion of my articles, but I use what I think are good keywords and key phrases and that should pull in viewers who are curious. I do not just use keywords because I know I do not search for items with only one word and I am betting others do not as well. I do not think I really ever have either and I have been searching and surfing on the internet now for thirteen years.

I use good titles most of the time as well, and try to make sure my lead paragraph has a bunch of my key phrases within it. If you do it write it will not sound tacky, but will flow easily. Having been a web master for 10 years now, I know good keywords, phrases, content and good title are what works.

On Writing,

Jimmy Buffett who in my opinion is one of the best singer/songwriters out there has a song in which he sings about how his manager wants him to make music for money and Jimmy just wants to make his music for himself and his fans to enjoy. I write my stories for pay but most importantly I write them for myself and that is good for me.

I am a very open and honest person and I like to do a lot of creative writing about personal issues. I mostly write from personal experience because that is my comfort zone. I write on a variety of topics and most of them are topics of which I am very passionate about.

I know most people out here write differently then I do, but that is okay with me we are all individuals. Sometimes I do feel as if my stuff is not worthy enough to for publishing but if it helps on person that really is enough for me.

I find my writing to be sort of a healing of sorts. We all know that getting things off our chest is a great thing as stress is an awful thing to live with. Less stress is always a great thing no doubt.

Lately I have been writing a lot about domestic abuse, spousal affairs and dealing with live in general. I suppose it is because I have finally found complete closure on it. I've closed the door on it long ago and removed us from that situation, yet now I can write about it without so much anger.

If you read the betrayal story of the parts which I wrote that took a few years to write. The first part was written shortly after I went through it but near the end of that part I waited a few months, that's why my attitude mellows as I go onward. The last part I wrote over the last year, because that was my healing period, the time when I found myself and all that jazz. That story is linked below in case I have aroused your interest in it. What a great feeling to know that my articles are helping others in their daily lives and that the pain I experienced in the past is also helping some to know they are not alone.

Still at times I find myself at a loss of what to write, even though the money sure motivates me big time. It's kind of hard to find the time to write quality articles when I don't know which was is up.

So now I am getting paid to write articles that help some people and I get to stand on a soap box and share my opinion and I am getting paid to do that. In my humble opinion that is outstanding.

Beyond the money it brings in it brings me immense emotional pleasure. I try to toss a free story up every now and then just because I feel the need to do so. Sometimes these stories are funny, or sad but what the heck if they help someone in some way it is worth it.

I hope to be here with associated content a long time and I am very much enjoying the ride.

This article really helps me, because I think one reason I haven't submitted many articles so far is that I am not confident my writing is good enough to be published or paid for. You inspire me to "just do it." Thanks :-)
