I Took You Today, a Poem About Love

When You Love Someone so Deeply ,you Don't Want to Let Them Go so Take Their Memory with You

I Took You Today

I took your face with me today
I stole your voice and took it away
I had to do it there was no choice
My ears kept listening to your voice
As sweet and dear as you are to me
I could not leave you, it wasn't to be.

Your poem is very good, it brings a fantastic mood. Your voice is like an open sky, Oh ! I like your poem that is why.

It's amazing that I can recall the voices of people I haven't heard for many years, and I've taken them with me. Excellent poem!
