I Used To Call You Friend

Jaded
Congratulations on your fantasies
Every one coming true
Salutations to who you will be
When you see that you're not you
Painful tears you cry on my shoulder
Bruises on your neck
Yet you're proud to say you've done it all
You laugh and say that you're okay
But I read through those lies
And your memories aren't hidden in disguise
Mutilations on your body
Scars upon your soul
Shattered pieces you know as your heart
No place you can go
Scrawny body
Only bones now
Even skin is tightening away
But congratulations on your special day.
So you gave her what she came for
You feel used and abused
Your trust again was beaten to a screaming death.
But you smile and change the subject
To all of my mistakes
