I Want to Follow You

Today I want to follow you,

Tomorrow I want to follow you,

Every single day I want to follow you,

I want you to lead my life,

I want you to use my life for your glory,

I want to use the gift you have given me,

To honor you,

To glorify you,

To lead others to you,

To be your vessel,

To the end of my days,

You choose me,

You own me

Your Son bought me,

He paid the price,

So I could be right in your sight,

To wash away My sin,

My vessel maybe flawed,

My vessel maybe not perfect,

My vessel may not be seen by others,

As something that can be used,

But all that matters,

All I know,

Is that today I want to follow you,

Tomorrow I want to follow you,

Every single day I want to follow you,

I want you to lead my life,

I want you to use me for your glory,

To bring forth your name to others,

To bring peace to those that needs rest,

To bring joy to those that does not see,

What I did not see for so many years,

To show that you still want them,

That you desire them to be with you,

That you desire a relationship with them,

Because you do not want to forsake them,

That all they need to do,

Is to know and believe,

In Your Son,

In Your Grace,

In Your promise of salvation,

If they accept Him as their Savior,

Accept He died for their sins,

That he rose from the dead,

And that His gift is,

To have everlasting life,

With You,

And it is because of that,

Because I want to be Yours,

I will follow you,

I will follow Him,

I will do this today,

I will do this tomorrow,

I will do this every day of my life,

And although not perfect,

Due to my Sins,

I will pray every day,

Repent for my sins,

Pray for others,

Seek your Word,

Seek your forgiveness,

Seek your will to be done,

Until the final day,

And I come home to heaven,

To worship you,

For eternity.
