I Want My Poetry to Cut to Make You Bleed

Patrick Irby
I want my poetry to speak
I don't want it to drag
I don't want it to paint pretty pictures
I don't want it to give people a fake feeling
I want my poetry to speak
truths and wisdom's
knowledge
I don't want it to hide behind fancy words
I don't want it to Rhyme with ease
I don't want it to have a beat
I want my poetry to cut
to make you bleed
you can't keep everything
so don't shed tears for things you've lost
coffins are made only for bones
