Where are you going lover
Can I follow you there?
Can I follow you there?
Where shall we run?
I will chase you
In our joyous play
Leaping and sprinting
To and fro with you
Pinning you down
Rolling and lolling about with you
Forests are deep
But they can't stand between you and
Me
In our game
Of hide and seek
I seek you and I find you
And your words
When they slip past your reason
Speak wisdom
And they speak truth
Making me laugh and know that
You are a gift
You wonderful friend
You compassionate lover
I want to share with you
Give to you
Take from you
Live with you
Learn with you
Be born with you
Learn to die with you

Post a CommentWow, the last few lines made me tear up! :)
Very passionate, very lovely. Well done!
i can definitely feel the passion in this poem. quite lovely.
Thank you all so much! I appreciate all of your feedback.
This is beautiful! I once read this book of feminist/lesbian poetry that had survived bcause the nuns hid it. I stupidly did not buy it.
It's not that I want to possess you.
It's that I want to be yours!
This piece reminds me of that!

I like this! It brings out the passion in the air! As if this was the last time; you will breathe each other's air. When I read your work; I'm never lost and left with a smile.
That was so full of exuberant love! Thanks for sharing your poem with us! :)
