It seems as if I have always had a pencil and paper in front me
and I wrote what t thought
and I wrote what I felt
and I wrote what was deep inside of me.
After the pencil I used a pen
and then I used the typewriter
I was able to get my thoughts out faster
I was able to get my thoughts out easier
And I wrote what was was in my heart.
When I had to write my college Term Paper
(I needed thus in order to graduate.).
I did not know how I could write what I thought
by using a pencil instead of a computer since
I write what is in my heart
I write what is in my mind
And my thoughts come out faster then I could
possibly write by using a pencil.
I had no choice - I wanted to graduate and needed the Term Paper-so
I took the pencil in my hand
I selected a topic I felt I could write
and sat at the table and wrote
and never stopped until the paper was completely finished
I got a perfect score - and did it by using the pencil
Now I am older- and I write for sites that feature
authors that are far superior then me
They get paid to write by others
they write for others who select them
they are freelance writers
they a homemakers
they are clerics
they are doctors
and all are writers and finally so am I..
First -AC Content selected me to be Contributing Edit for Seniors which makes me ever so proud!
And today- (on one of the other sites I write for)-I received a request (from someone I had written a few articles for)
He asked me to work for them.
I am so happy that I wanted to take this time
To share it with all of my AC friends
It took me almost all of my life
and well into my late Senior Years
to finally be recognized as a writer.
It took me almost a lifetime of dreaming my dreams and finally had it came true.
Keep believing = It could come true for you too
No matter what your dreams are
Never give up If you dream long enough it will happen.
Never think you are too old, too fat or that you missed the boat!

It is the Craftsman that makes the tools work, not the other way around. Pencil, pen - a stick in the sand - talent will out. Congratulations! See ya around the site!
Congratulations and I hope to follow in your footsteps.
Maybe I'll get done returning comments before we go to Conroe, TX on Thursday (and then I'll probably have tons more after that!)
May is turning out to be a crazy month. Got over 100 comments to return. Hopefully things will be back to normal in June!

Congratulations to my new friend! You kept your eye on the ball, you connected, and BINGO -- a home run!
Dear One: I wrote my first published book at age 50! The product of an abusive parent, I was conditioned to believe I would never amount to anything. Well, it took me a long time, but I proved her wrong. So, I say to you, KEEP WRITING, my new friend.
