I want to write
But can hardly find the time.
I come up with good ideas,
That not expressing them it's a crime.
But can hardly find the time.
I come up with good ideas,
That not expressing them it's a crime.
I want to write
But the day is over before I know
The pages are still blank
So I have nothing to show.
I want to write
I eagerly awake each and every day
Then life begins to happen
And I am left in disarray.
If any of you out there
Have an idea, tip, or thought
Please kindly pass it along
That I might not be left distraught.

Post a CommentThis is totally how I feel right now. I can definitely relate to this.
Im sure alot of people can relate, so much to say not enough words to express the thuoghts!! Very well written!
Nicely expressed, I feel this as well!
I do most of my writing in the wee hours of the morning before the sun comes up. I call it "working the night shift." Good night and sleep tight. :o)
I think of Winston Churchill's comment "If a thing is worth doing at all, it is worth doing badly." This ironic remark is not disparagement but to encourage you to do a lot of it, eventually you'll get good at it. Keep writing! What seems difficult now,you will master. It's obvious to everyone commenting here that you have talent, keep developing it!
I agree with Mr. Reinstein. You seem to have written, have you not? Keep up the good work!
Well done. I often end up writing poems when I don't know what to write.
You don't need advice - you have solved the problem yourself! When unsure what to write, write about THAT!
Best of luck and nicely done poem.
Expressed very well. I'm sure glad you want to write. It's a blessing for all of us.
With Love,
Cindy
