I Wish I May, I Wish I Might

Jean Davis
I wish I may, I wish I might.

How many times have you heard someone wishing, their life away?

They are only robbing themselves of the "here and now."

This minute. This "today."

The past is gone. Tomorrow is yet to come.

The "here and now" is all we can be sure of.

Don't waste your time thinking of things long gone.

Just open your eyes to the blessings from above.

Every good and perfect gift comes straight from your Heavenly Father.

Some even come as blessings in disguise.

There may come a day when nothing seems to be going right but it's not over, yet.

You're probably in for a nice surprise.

Your Heavenly Father is always in charge and in control even if

Your faith is being tried.

Everything happens for a reason though we don't readily understand.

Rest assured one reason is for God to be glorified.

You are so right. We do need to take one day at a time and enjoy it.
