Just once more
l want to hear a little voice
call me Mommy.
I woke up, Mommy,
Come get me.
Mommy!
Can we play a game? Can we?
Come play with me
Mommy
I'm hungry
Mommy
Tell me a story.
Mommy
Can I go too? Can I?
I'll be good I promise.
Mommy
Look I made a picture, see?
Look how fast I run
Watch me swim
see me ride
swing me.
Mommy!
I love you.
Just once more
I want to hear
a little voice
call me Mommy.

Post a CommentHow ironic that I read this today. After church a young girl was saying all she really wanted to be was a stay-at-home mom. I applaud women like that because motherhood is a very important role to play nin a child's life. Even though you long to hear those words again, I'm sure you are a mother-figure to many. Great sentiment.

Really sweet and touching! And then I read JP Whickson's comment and cracked up a little :)
This is really sweet. :-)
Sweet!
I think the cats learned the word Mama. They certainly sound like it and it's said in a demanding voice.
Awww!
Oh, Linda. This made me cry! I will be lost when my boys grow up. I think about it all the time. :-(

Me too.
