I Would Do Anything

Dusti Sparks-Myers
I would do any thing for you,
I would climb a mountain or two,
I would sink into the bottomless pit
If you would only - yes, just give one hint.

I have loved you for far too long
I have written you dozens of love songs
But you have never once glanced my way
Oh what words - what words must I really say?

I know you don't care about me
And you are too blind, you cannot see
How much I want to take care of you
But I do not - I don't know what to do.

Must I bare my aching heart to you?
Should I hand it straight over to you?
Would it matter - really matter anyway?
When you have nothing, no nothing to say.

Perhaps in the night - when you dream,
You will meet our past and it will weave,
Into the present - yes all my love for you.
Be safe my love, never fear my love,
I will always be here for you.

There is only way to heal my heart,
Since we are always going to be apart.
We all have a choice in what we must do,
And I must go - I have to leave you.

They say everyone has a soul mate,
That travels through time - from space to space.
I guess the time is just not right for our love.
You have to do your thing, just as I must.

But know that I will always love you
And I will always be right here for you
All you ever need to do - is call my name.
I will be by your side; no it's not a game.

Perhaps in the night - when you dream,
You will meet our past and it will weave,
Into the present - yes all my love for you.
Be safe my love, never fear my love,
I will always be here for you.
