I start to think and come up with the thought, the problem is why did consumers even get to that point in the first place of needing help consolidating loans or requesting Tax Masters founder Patrick R. Cox's help getting the IRS off their back. I understand the economy is in the tanks (although in my opinion is getting better), however at a time when the federal government is using tax payer money lending out to the banks and the auto industry trying to stabilize this recession. My question is how can Freedom Debt Relief and Tax Masters really help the irresponsible for their mistakes in not managing their fiances appropriately nor be associated with that. The IRS is going to get there money or put you in jail and I do not believe for one second the "infomercial" like claim they can reduce that amount owed to pennies on the dollar.
Whatever happened to the word "Responsible" it always seems to get lost in the equation. Responsible lending would not have got the country in the debacle it is in now. While consumers making Responsible money borrowing and spending decisions would not have me and the rest of America pulling our hair out and yelling at the television every time we see one of these two commercials. How can Mr. Patrick R. Cox put his face on television during such dire times trying to make money on people that DON'T HAVE ANY MONEY!!! Maybe I am the one that just does not get it.
I just find it disheartening to see these commercial so called "regular" people with smiles on their faces making such excited claims of owing tens to hundreds of thousand of dollars to the IRS and after the To-Good-To-Be-True commercial tries to back up their claim I want to scream at them. I guess for myself personally it just does not sit right in the stomach watching these types of commercials during this moment in time. Maybe when the day finally comes and GDP and Quarter after Quarter earnings rise then I wont be so upset seeing these commercials but until then I will continue to wonder the question of Why do people continue to bite off more then they can chew especially when it comes to money??

Post a CommentI totally agree with you BK! My father is an attorney & I've never gotten the ease at which some people will bury themselves in ridiculous amounts of debt only to file bankruptcy without any remorse. Sign of the times, I guess.
BK, I personally know someone who has filed bankruptcy three times due to compulsive gambling. Ever notice a gambler will always tell you what they won, but never what they lost.
