Ice Breakers Ice Cubes Sugar Free Gum: A Breath Freshener that Will Both Chill and Thrill

Looking for something more fun and distinct than your average chewing gum, then Ice Breakers Ice Cubes Sugar Free Gum is just the thing for you. I have tried all sorts of gum and this one takes the cake on being unique in shape. Most chewing gums come in flat rectangular shapes, but this comes shaped as a small ice cube. I picked up the "Raspberry Sorbet" flavor and here's my take on this gum.

First of all, as mentioned previously, I like the shape and size of this gum. The fruity flavor is rich and refreshing at the same time. This gum contains xylitol which is supposed to produce a cooling effect in your mouth. Sometimes, even when I don't really need the gum to freshen my breath I'll still chew on some of these because I like the flavor so much. One complaint is that the flavor doesn't last as long as I like, but then again most chewing gum flavors don't last that long in general.

My other complaint is that this gum, like most popular gums for purchase, is sugar free and contains the ingredient aspartame which has been known for producing harmful health effects in the long run. However, it is very rare to find non-sugar free gum these days, so can't really nitpick about this flaw with this particular gum. For those concerned about calories, this gum contains 35% fewer calories than regular sugared gum. Each piece has had their calorie content reduced from seven to four calories.

This gum comes in a neat looking re-sealable box which contains 10 pieces per container. I haven't seen this sell in a multi-pack form, and I personally bought these individually. These usually retail for around ninety cents a box, but I managed to get these for 2 boxes for a dollar. If I were at the store again, I would probably get this same flavor again, or try a different one, but only if it's on sale. I probably would not buy this for full price because although it has great flavor, savings is also a key item as well.
